Can’t say enough good things about the team at TLC. My daughter has a challenging auditory processing disorder and went through multiple rounds of evaluation and testing by a variety of specialist. Happily, we were eventually referred to Maria Bagby and her team. After a year of pretty intense work, my daughter’s ability to focus, work independently and self confidence have all improved tremendously. I recommend them without hesitation.
I can’t say enough about this place and all the clinicians who work at TLC! It’s been a blessing in my family’s life, especially my 13 year old son’s life. He was about 4 years behind in all academic areas and he’s been here for a couple months. He has already showing growth almost 1 to 2 grade levels in reading. Amazing! His confidence is improving, his self esteem is being boosted and there are more smiles on his face.
I highly recommend TLC! My son’s processing speed improved, he’s able to complete his schoolwork more independently, and his confidence in his abilities has increased. He says, “Everything is just easier after TLC!” I love the focus on fixing the child’s issues, rather than merely teach them to cope. All of the staff are amazing– caring, patient, & positive. My son’s clinician challenged him without pushing him to frustration. A worthwhile investment in my child’s future!

D is doing wonderful, he is graduating with honors! When we first met with you in the summer of 2016 he was taking medication for ADHD. With your program he was able to get off his medicine. I can’t thank you enough for what you and your staff do. It’s been life changing for us and will be forever grateful to you!
TLC is nothing short of a miracle. I will admit I was initially hesitant. It is not cheap, and the promises of academic progress seem too good to be true. However, I am not being dramatic when I say it was worth every penny and it changed my son’s academic life forever. My son had struggled all through elementary school with reading comprehension and math, earning low grades. Our school said they were unable to help him and they felt he just had a low IQ. They were so wrong!
My son is now able to do his homework by himself and he is getting high Bs in all his classes in middle school. He loves school and feels great about himself. TLC nothing short of a miracle. The entire staff has been wonderful for my son. Thank you team TLC!

TLC’s hard work and willingness to take a chance on my son truly has had a huge impact on our lives. It is impossible to put into any amount of words to express the progress and changes. My son is exceeding in all areas and is highly involved in the school and events winning many awards.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the services we received. When he began, he was below grade level in most subjects, very discouraged and struggling. I had already engaged tutors, occupational therapists, and IEP program at the school and nothing would help him. Now he on the honor roll in middle school and I can only attribute much of the success he has had to TLC. Thank you TLC for helping my son acquire a love of learning.
Paisley LOVES TLC, and has from her very first session! She absolutely looks forward to each and every session, even getting up early on Saturday mornings, without complaint and eager to go for two hours. Her favorite thing about TLC is the clinicians, and although she is most fond of one in-particular, she’s happy to work with everyone. From a parents perspective, it’s wonderful to see that my child is happy to be participating in this therapy. Paisley’s ability to sound out and spell words was so difficult before TLC that she would fight tooth-and-nail to avoid writing, but now she is able she’s able to get her thoughts out on paper without the agony she used to experience while trying to express herself and her spelling has dramatically improved! Her confidence has increased, she tries when she used to give up, and she’s having successes in learning that we feared she might never experience – like getting 100% on a Math quiz last week – Hooray! We couldn’t feel more blessed and grateful to have found TLC!
TLC was a lifesaver for our entire family. My 10 year old daughter was struggling with organizing her school work, following through on teacher instructions and comprehending 5th grade books. After an extensive evaluation (which they actually made fun for her), Maria and her team sat down with us to explain test results. My daughter met with skilled & qualified instructors daily where they applied physical exercises, mental and memory lessons to increase her auditory processing speed at their office. Outside of office she was given headphones to listen to music from a website on her ipad. The classical music has sophisticated technology to help her focus. After several months, she was able to comprehend grade level books, over come organizational issues and follow through on school and home responsibilities. TLC accomplished the goal to catch her up academically but also gave her new found confidence which was invaluable for her and our family!
We were fortunate enough to happen upon this wonderful school when our daughter was having severe difficulties reading and keeping up in school. She was beyond frustrated and her self esteem was suffering, so we enrolled her at first for a few hours each day before school. After doing that for 6 months and seeing steady improvement, we decided to enroll her full time. What a complete turn around it’s been. Her self esteem is back, her love for learning is back, and she now has some great skills for helping her through the remainder of her school journey. This is truly a one of a kind program that we cannot recommend highly enough. If you have a child who’s struggling in school, this is the place to be to help them. Maria, and the entire staff at TLC, we will miss you greatly and are forever in your gratitude.
