Navigating difficulties in writing and dysgraphia using the Learning Continuum is central in our approach to educational therapy. We recognize that writing challenges often originate from a variety of underlying cognitive and motor skills.
Navigating difficulties in writing and dysgraphia using the Learning Continuum is central in our approach to educational therapy. We recognize that writing challenges often originate from a variety of underlying cognitive and motor skills.
Using a neurodevelopmental lens, we identify the specific skills of weakness, from fine motor coordination to visual-spatial processing, and systematically apply targeted activities that are both fun and inspiring for our students that have been struggling.
Our writing program focuses on strengthening foundational skills, enhancing hand-eye coordination, and refining motor planning abilities. We understand that each step along the continuum represents a unique set of skills, and our tailored interventions address these intricacies with patience and expertise. Through this approach, we not only remediate writing difficulties but also empower students with dysgraphia to find their voice and express themselves confidently through the written word.
Our program includes everything from pencil grip and handwriting to written content in all genres.
