Third Party Provider - Self-Determination Program
The Self-Determination Program (SDP) is available to all eligible individuals receiving services from a regional center. It allows participants the opportunity to have more control in developing their service plans and selecting service providers to better meet their needs. Savings Plans and Deductions
529 Collage Saving Plan
529 College Savings Plans are now open for usage for tuition for K-12 schools and educational expenses such as tutoring up to $10,000 per year, per beneficiary.
FSA Eligibility
TLC’s services are FSA-eligible – You may use your Flexible Spending Account to directly pay, or be reimbursed for our cognitive and educational therapies. Payments made from FSA accounts are tax-free, and saves you money.
Tax Deductions
Parents of children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia or ADHD may deduct tutoring expenses for their special needs child from their federal income tax, according to the IRS. Please consult with your tax accountant.
