In our approach to addressing math difficulties and dyscalculia, the Learning Continuum serves as our guiding framework. We recognize that math challenges often stem from a range of foundational cognitive skills including visual spatial skills, concept visualization, spatial reasoning, logic and reasoning, memory and the foundational number sense. We systematically identify and address these underlying skills.
By addressing the CAUSE of the difficulties in math and number sense, we can build confident and efficiency in further mathematical learning without the need for tutoring.
