What is Dysgraphia?

In-Person Services - Therapeutic Learning

Dysgraphia is a learning disability that affects writing. It is characterized by illegible, messy handwriting and difficulty putting thoughts on paper. It is usually treated with a combination of fine motor skill training and application of accommodations. Yet, since writing is such a complex process, effective treatment methods must also include cognitive training for building thought and content at the same time. With targeted specific training, your student can become a confident and independent writer.
